The Hyderabad Branch is 44 years old with a variety of achievement to its credit. The Branch enjoys membership strength of more than 3800 and 7000 students. The foundation stone for Hyderabad Branch Building was laid on 30th September, 1989 by Sri. A. H. DALAL, President, ICAI. With generous contributions made by the Members the Building Project was completed by April, 1992 and Building was inaugurated on 5th April, 1992 by Sri. N. C. SUNDARARAJAN, President, ICAI and since then it has been a center-stage of activity. Second floor of the building was inaugurated by Sri. Rahul Roy, Youngest President, ICAI in the Presence of Sri. S. P. Chhajed Vice-President, ICAI. Several members of Our Branch have made noble gesture by making donations generously from time to time to erect the Branch Building. The Branch Building has Administrative Office in the Ground Floor, a Conference-Hall in the first Floor with maximum capacity of 200 Members and 3 Lecture Halls for Students in the Second Floor & Managing Committee room in the Second Floor. The Branch is also equipped with good Library for the benefit of Members and Students. During 2005-06, a major renovation project is taken up to bring the branch ambience to look more contemporary. The “CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE ”, a Prestigious Project has been allotted to Hyderabad, a training & knowledge centre.

The Branch has been conducting classes for Foundation and Intermediate Students as an accredited institution, while intensive coaching classes for Students at all levels are also conducted. Branch has been successful in producing rank holders from time to time, including all India FIRST in all categories, with the help of best faculty at the Branch

The Branch was adjudged “BEST BRANCH” and was awarded “ROTATING SHIELD” DURING 1988-89, and was awarded “HIGHLY COMMENDED PERFORMANCE CERTIFICATE” for the years 1985-86, 1989-90, 1992-93, 1995, 1997 and 1999-2000,2001-2002 It was also adjudged “MOST ACTIVE BRANCH” by SIRC for the years 1993-94, 1995-96, 1996-97, 1997-98 and 2000-2001.

The Branch has been popular for conducting special programs like Residential Refresher Courses at National & International venues. Weekend Refresher Course, Mock Tribunal, Interactive Workshops, Lecture Meetings, & Interaction with Bureaucrats, Public Representatives, for the benefit of Members and Students. Study Circle Activity has been the tradition of the Branch. The Branch has launched Prestigious courses like WTO, IFRS & US GAAP, ISO, Independent Directors, & Social awareness activities, Blood donation camps, health checkup camps, to name few.

Hyderabad Branch has been designated as Decentralized Office since 1994. It is endeavor of the members of the Managing Committee to make it the Best Branch in its service to Members and Students.
